Sampling is the approval stage between your private label brief and mass production. For an existing model, the sample is free of charge and ready within 2 weeks after its specification is confirmed. The buyer covers the shipping cost. A sample helps both teams agree on the exact product, branding and packaging before a production deposit is paid.
Our sampling process
- Send the model brief. Identify the model, material, size, handle, lid, finish and quantity. Include your destination market and intended product claims.
- Provide branding files. Share your logo artwork, preferred body, lid and handle placement, and whether you want laser engraving or embossing. Send packaging artwork and any retailer instructions.
- Confirm sample scope. We clarify which features and pack components will be included. If a selected option needs a feasibility check, we address it before preparing the sample.
- Receive the free sample. We prepare it within 2 weeks after the brief is confirmed. You pay the shipping cost and inspect it against the agreed specification.
- Approve or request revisions. Record any changes in writing. Once the final sample and deposit are approved, production can begin; the normal production window is 40–60 days, excluding freight.
What to check before approval
Measure the product and examine the finish, handle attachment, lid fit, logo placement and packaging. Verify labels and any market-specific information against your own importer or retailer checklist. Keep photos and a dated version of the approved sample so a later reorder refers to the same specification.
